I came across this charming American Craftsman Style house in E. L. Moore's photos. It's quite surprising in many ways. I've neither seen a manuscript or published article dealing with this build nor seen any mention of it in his letters. It appears to be a lost project. Maybe it was a commission he did for someone. The house has a street address on it, 1806, hinting that it could be a model of someone's actual house.
Compare this house to The Combination Houses. It's a far more sophisticated and complex project than those buildings. When was this model made? I have no idea.
Impressive!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the work he did on the window frames.
