Yesterday I painted the paved area with a thin coat of acrylic white primer so I'd have a uniform undercoat on which to apply colour coats.
This morning I was greeted to a number of the large foam board building pads lifted from the base. I suspect the paint caused the paper surface to shrink a bit, causing the board to warp, and the transfer tape wasn't strong enough to resist. I'll pull up the debonded sheets, bend them back into shape, and use a regular glue to reattach them. Living and learning on my way to - hopefully - a flyweight layout.
