The Whimsical vs The Prototype

I'm quite enjoying the videos over at Boomer Dioramas. Lots of good ones on both technique and philosophy, and it has an easy going vibe. Highly recommended.

    Fundamentally, Model Railroading IS whimsical.
    It's really about the story - prototypical or fantasy, imagination or memory. Or both together.
