End of road weathering - for now

I did another round of road weathering to tone down strong hues and unify the colours a bit. I also pulled some buildings from the shelf to see how the road tones compared to those on the structures. I'm still thinking about how they go together, no doubt some further adjustments will still be needed.

  1. I really like the tall building. Reminds me of Carleton university Dutton tower.

    1. Thanks! It does look like Dutton now that you mention it.

  2. The real challenge of having tall model buildings is that they'll probably be taller than your backdrop. Photos of them from ground level might reveal the short backdrop. Not saying it's impossible and your buildings are great!

    1. You're right. When I take pictures I usually put together a special backdrop for the occasion. The tallest one I have in mind is one of the TD Towers in Toronto - it'll be close to touching the workshop's ceiling when it's on the layout. Ok, the ceiling down there is only a little over 6', so.....
