[31 December 2017 update: An 8 1/2 x 11 formatted pdf of E. L. Moore's published article list based on the above master file can be found here.]

  1. Hi J.D.,

Surfed on in (was it ever cool to say that?) to your blog from Michael Hammond's The Beachburg Sub.

Your blog has some cool modelled elements such as the World's Biggest Bookstore, PCC cars etc etc.

I was thinking of an E. L. Moore-ish layout idea:

Imagine that fast food restaurants, strip malls, and gas stations had never been served by truck deliveries. Imagine, if you will, that modern-era railways served these commercial enterprises. What would it look like?

I'm thinking of a post on this topic, perhaps with some mockups, on my blog:

so give me your thoughts, but don't tell anyone. I don't want to ruin the surprise when it's finally posted.

    Eric in Kingston

  2. Hi Eric,
Thanks for visiting my blog and for the kind words. I sent you 'secret' message to follow-up the on the conversation :-)

  3. Thanks, Jim. The fix is in!

  4. Thanks for the articles info...I can't squint hard enough to read it very well, but I fixed a number of missing things in the NMRA Mag Index. Still need to normalize the names...

    1. Sorry about that! I've got to make an update to make it clearer and include recent additions.

  5. Could you please recreate that PDF list of articles on Google Drive as a multi-page PDF instead of the single page it is now? I cannot print the darn thing, and I need to carry it with me to train shows to find those last few missing mag issues I don't have…otherwise I just have my not-complete handwritten list

    1. Sure. Once Christmas is over next week I'll reformat the list. Also, a list organized according to period is posted at the ELM Wikipedia article and when viewed on a phone displays rather nicely.
