Unknown apartment

For around six weeks in the spring, this handsome N-scale apartment beckoned to me from the re-sale shelf every time I visited George's Trains. I finally broke down and bought it. I'm not sure if it's an apartment or  a small hotel. There's no manufacturer's stamp on it anywhere, so I can't say who produced it. Whoever built this kit did a good job. A little clean-up here and there, and maybe a new base or removing it all together, and it'll be quite fine.
[Looks like some wall trim pieces might be missing from this side, but that will be easy to correct.]

  1. Nice looking building. But isn't it the wrong scale???

    1. Well, I'm toying with the idea of building a small N scale streetcar layout. There's a number of buildings I wanted to try and build, but they'd be too big in HO, so I thought I might try N. Still undecided, but I thought I might try cleaning this building up to see if I could work in this scale.

    2. Sounds good, welcome to the dark side! I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

    3. Thanks! I'm not sure what's going to happen, but I'll be curious to see how things pan out too :-)
