After re-reading a few posts on this layout it struck me that I wasn't mentioning one of the most important things you need to do at the end of each little phase of construction: run whatever locos, trams, or trollies you're going to operate on the layout to make sure everything - the track and the vehicles - still runs ok. I've found out the hard way on previous projects that it's a bummer to assume everything is running fine and then find out months later that it isn't. It can be boring, but being 'test-y' is important for maintaining one's sanity.
Notes about E. L. Moore, mid-20th century model railroading, and other model making related interests.
