Darrell Poole sent me a link to this first video of his HO scale Elizabeth Valley RR tribute layout of trains running on the upper loop. He's made excellent progress, and the layout and video are looking great! I'm looking forward to seeing how this railroad develops.
Thanks J.D.

DeleteWow, JD! Has it been 6 years? I've been quite busy with 7th Street Shops and keeping the homestead afloat. Nevertheless I have slowly picked away at the Moore & Moore Lines and today all of the track is in place with most of the bugs worked out.
ReplyDeleteThe control panel is waiting on a few more toggle switches but is operational. And I have been working on scenery - which is an excellent way to coax more track issues to the surface.
I've read most of the E-book. Fabulous work., Thank You!!
My interest in Moore's EVRR goes way back to the early '70s much like your story. In 1971 I began a small 4x6 loop layout based on what little I could determine of the EVRR from the photos in HO Primer. No where close and not really an attempt to copy.
You can find photos of that layout it on my Blog, rails-flangesregeared.blogspot.com Post 2 (I'm not so techie literate with blog technology so I apologize; you will need to use the "search" to find it. Type in Post 2.
And I am impressed with how well organized (easy to use ) "30 Squares" is presented!
Tell me how and if you wish I'll send updated photos of the Moore & Moore Lines, "The Road from Here to There".
Derrell
I just finished reading the first 3 installments of Moore in the 21st Century. Much fuel for thought
It's good to hear from you Derrell. Thanks for the kind words about the ELM eBook and the blog! Your layout in Post 2 is fascinating and I'm looking forward to seeing photos of progress on your Moore & Moore Lines. Regarding photos, please send me your email address in a comment. I'll make note of it and contact you, but I won't publish the comment so your contact information won't become public.
