I'm hoping to write about it in the fall, but the plans appear to trace back to Bill Livingston.J D Lowehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07907821767203109311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4064796956302169303.post-63711471281133384732016-08-07T23:01:57.796-04:002016-08-07T23:01:57.796-04:00I thought 8 Ball Loco Works went further back to B...I thought 8 Ball Loco Works went further back to Bill Livingston?VBDihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02354416562358609303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4064796956302169303.post-3202809057432146532015-09-22T18:05:38.338-04:002015-09-22T18:05:38.338-04:00Thanks Ian. I did a little digging on the '8 Ball Locomotive Works" and searches suggest it was an article by Bob Hayden; however. I'm going to try and find a copy - I wouldn't be surprised if there was an ELM influence.J D Lowehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07907821767203109311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4064796956302169303.post-15303930981366642582015-09-22T09:22:48.915-04:002015-09-22T09:22:48.915-04:00Yeah, I completely agree with Dan, these new EL Mo...Yeah, I completely agree with Dan, these new EL Moores are fabulous. So nice to see they have survived particularly as I have read some of the original articles.I know he used "Templates" for some of his designs as his "Dilly mfg" structure is very like his "8 Ball Loco Works" which I copied back in the eighties. It was an article in the MRC I think. Anyway, what a fabulous series, thank you!Iain Robinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03633733907566547236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4064796956302169303.post-79898340579238698312015-09-22T06:01:39.502-04:002015-09-22T06:01:39.502-04:00Thanks Dan. Debra and I were going over the building count in our notebook, and we think we miscounted and there are 62 in total - 54 or 62, maybe I should have paid more attention to Sesame Street, but either way it'll take a while to post pictures of them all.J D Lowehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07907821767203109311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4064796956302169303.post-45055066837446134562015-09-21T21:55:10.797-04:002015-09-21T21:55:10.797-04:00Every new post is a delight and a revelation.
